WHO THIS POLICY IS FOR

RCC Women is a private app for women registered for Redemption City Church
women's ministry events, such as the Women's Retreat. You access the App
using the email address on your event registration in our church management
system, Planning Center Online. The App is intended for adults and is not
directed to children under 13.
WHERE YOUR INFORMATION COMES FROM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your account is created from your Planning Center registration. You do not
create a separate account, and you do not enter a password. The App reads
your information from Planning Center; it never writes your information
back to Planning Center. Your name and profile details shown in the App
mirror what the church already holds in Planning Center.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT

From your church registration, by way of Planning Center:
- Your name
- Your email address, used to send your one-time sign-in code
- Your phone number, kept so the church can reconcile its roster. This is
not shown to other attendees.
- Your city and state, and any profile photo on your church profile
Information created as you use the App:
- Breakout session registrations and waiting list positions
- Session check-ins
- Sessions you save or favourite
- Your notification preferences
- Your lodging and room assignment, entered by church staff
Collected automatically, so features can work:
- A push notification token and basic device type, if you turn on
notifications, so we can deliver them
We do NOT collect your device's GPS or precise location, your contacts,
your calendar, your health information, or any financial information. The
App contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.
HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- To sign you in and confirm you are registered for the event
- To run event features: the schedule, breakout registration and waiting
lists, check-in, lodging and room details, maps, announcements, and
reminders
- To send notifications you have chosen to receive
We do not sell your information. We do not use it for advertising. We do
not share it with third parties for their own purposes.
WHO CAN SEE YOUR INFORMATION

- Other attendees can see the name of the house you are staying in and
its address, as part of the shared retreat information. Attendees
cannot see other houses' guest lists, your phone number, or your email
address.
- Church staff and event administrators can see attendee registration
details, room assignments, and breakout registrations, in order to run
the event.
- Service providers who operate the App on our behalf, and only under our
instructions:
Supabase - secure hosting of the App's database, file storage and
sign-in, and delivery of your one-time sign-in code by email.
Expo, together with Apple Push Notification service and Google
Firebase Cloud Messaging - delivery of push notifications.
Planning Center Online - the source of your registration and profile.
Google Maps - displays the map of retreat locations. Google may
receive standard technical information when the map loads.
- Where required by law, or to protect the safety of our community.
HOW YOUR INFORMATION IS PROTECTED

Information is encrypted while it travels to and from your device (HTTPS)
and encrypted where it is stored. Access is controlled so that each
attendee can reach only the information she is permitted to see. Sign-in
tokens are held in your device's secure storage.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as
long as needed to run church events, and afterwards as required for
legitimate ministry, safety, and legal purposes.
YOUR CHOICES AND YOUR RIGHTS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- Change your notification preferences at any time in the App's settings,
or in your device settings.
- Correct your details. Because your profile mirrors Planning Center,
corrections to your name, photo, or city are made in your church
profile rather than in the App.
- Delete your account and your information. You can delete your account
from within the App at [[ CONFIRM WORDING ONCE BUILT - e.g.
"Settings, then Delete My Account" ]]. You may also request deletion by
contacting us at [[ PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL ]]. Deleting your account
removes your App account and the information you created in the App. It
does not remove your registration or your profile in Planning Center,
which are the church's own records - contact the church office for
those.
CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

The App is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We may update this policy. We will revise the effective date above, and for
significant changes we will let you know in the App.
